EZ Loader has been
manufacturing boat trailers in Spokane, Washington since 1953. In the first year
of boat trailer production, EZ Loader sold around 100 trailers, increasing that
to 1,000 trailers produced and sold in 1959. In 1962, EZ loader invented the all
roller trailer and was granted a patent on its design in 1964. It became so
popular in the Northwest U.S. and Western Canada, that the Midwest, East Coast
and Canadian Trailer Distributors took interest in the line and started selling
them to their dealers in the mid 60's. EZ Loader's sales grew rapidly through
the 70's and 80's to over 60,000 trailers a year.
In the mid 80's, EZ Loader purchased two custom trailer manufacturers, and
has recently combined the two operations into one facility in Midway Arkansas.
TI Trailers (now called EZ Loader Midway Division) became part of the EZ Loader
team when it was purchased in 1984, and Custom Frames (now called EZ Loader
Custom Division) was acquired in 1988 to complete the product line along with EZ
Loader Southeast and EZ Loader Midwest. The 90's saw many new product
innovations as well as the addition of three more distribution centers on the
West Coast
